Richland is essentially the same team. They will miss 4-5 key seniors, but QB,RB,WR, a few OL, All their Linebackers are back. Should be the next best team in the West after the Quips.

I wouldn't be surprised if Richland knocked off aliquippa. Although the Quips will be hungry after that state championship loss to Wyomissing. (Great game BTW)

Richland has plenty of experience this time around. Remember the past two seasons they were knocked out by the Western champion (Tyrone,Aliquippa) and these seniors played big roles for those teams. They now know what it takes. I believe in the players and the Staff. Not saying they will beat Aliquippa, but I would be far from shocked if they do.

d6snjim or @ fantilltheend, correct me if I'm wrong, but think about the third quarter of the game last year when richland scored, forced a fumble on the kickoff but then couldnt punch it in then missed a chip shot field goal. That could've atleast tied the game. Granted Aliquippa pulled away and you could say controlled the LOS, but man, they played practically even with them. It's big to get some experience against a WPIAL team...not because they are more talented (which i think that gap has closed considerably) but because of the psychological factor of playing those teams that get highly touted from the beginning of the year...
